KICK Questions
KICK is a nationwide initiative by the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF) that supports innovative solutions to social challenges. It offers a platform to showcase your work, access funding, connect with mentors and partners, and scale your impact.
It is also a flagship initiative marking PEF’s 25th anniversary.
KICK features two tracks:
- Proven Track: For tested and implemented solutions with demonstrated results and strong potential for scale and replication
- Emerging Track: For early-stage ideas and innovations with potential to address social challenges and create impact
- Apply to the Proven Track if your innovation has already been implemented and shows results.
- Apply to the Emerging Track if your idea is still in the concept, prototype, or early testing stage.
KICK welcomes innovations that contribute to inclusive and sustainable development, including:
- Social Entrepreneurship for Livelihoods and Decent Work: Innovative and inclusive enterprise models that generate sustainable income, promote dignified work, and reduce inequalities
- Youth-Led Change: Initiatives led by or focused on young people addressing social issues
- Resilience, Sustainability, and Climate Solutions: Innovations that strengthen resilience to risks, promote circular economy practices, and advance environmental sustainability
- Open Category: For innovations that cut across themes or do not fall under the listed categories but clearly demonstrate social impact
Submissions are not limited to these themes. Entries that embody the spirit of social transformation and innovation are highly encouraged.
Your innovation must be original. If adapted, please acknowledge your source and demonstrate how it has been localized or improved.
KICK is open to Philippine-based entities that are legally registered (CDA, DTI, or SEC) with innovative solutions to social challenges
Yes. Collaborating organizations may submit a joint proposal, but must clearly define their roles and contributions in the proposed innovation.
One organization must be designated as the lead proponent and fund recipient, as PEF will release funds to only a single organization. The management and allocation of funds among collaborating partners will be handled internally by the applicant group.
Yes, as long as each submission represents a distinct innovation or initiative.
Yes, but only if it is clearly distinct, not duplicative of existing PEF programs or interventions, and demonstrates added value, innovation, and differentiation beyond current initiatives.
Yes, provided that their entry is clearly distinct from and not part of existing PEF-funded projects or agreed-upon project deliverables. Proposals must demonstrate new or additional innovation beyond current engagements and will be subject to the same review and selection process as all other submissions.
All submissions will be managed in accordance with PEF’s conflict of interest policy to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.

Financial Support
- Winners may receive up to ₱2,500,000.
- Grant amounts, release schedules, and conditions are subject to review based on available resources and program requirements
Continued Support
The KICK grant is a one-time funding support for testing, scaling, and replication.
KICK also serves as a pathway for continued support. Both winners and runners-up may be considered for follow-on support under PEF’s regular programs, subject to due diligence. This may include:
- Capacity-building programs
- Opportunities to access further funding (grants, loans, equity, or blended financing)
Visibility and Networks
- Feature in KICK storytelling and media platforms
- Access to funders, partners, and development networks
KICK does not prescribe a fixed funding range. Selected entries receive a one-time financial award to support testing, scaling, or replication. Proposals are assessed based on innovation, impact potential, and growth pathway rather than the funding size.
Proposals may cover multi-year implementation (e.g., up to two years), but the grant itself is not multi-year. Costs should be reasonable and directly linked to the innovation, including personnel, program delivery, community engagement, equipment, and capacity building.
Following the award, selected innovators may explore additional support through PEF’s regular funding programs or connect with other funding opportunities through PEF’s network.
The deadline for KICK applications is June 15, 2026.
Yes. Submissions in local languages are accepted.
Applications go through several stages: Review and shortlisting → Validation → Final selection and awarding
Winners will be featured during the PEF 25th Anniversary Celebration in November 2026. Selected winners will be notified in advance following the final selection process.
