Displaced Lumads from the municipality of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat received relief packs from Bacbacan Multi-Purpose Cooperative with the assistance of Peace and Equity Foundation. This initiative is part of PEF’s efforts across the country to supported affected communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Peace and Equity Foundation continues its support to affected households during the COVID-19 pandemic. 360 families from IP communities in Misamis Oriental were given food items through the partnership with Birhen sa Kota Development Development Foundation Inc.
In partnership with Urban Poor Associates, the Peace and Equity Foundation provided relief packs to affected urban poor residents of Baseco Compound in Tondo, Manila.
Miarayon Lapok Lirongan Tinaytayan Talaandig Tribal Association (Milalittra Coffee), with the support from Peace and Equity Foundation, distributed food packs to Talaandig farmers affected by the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ). PEF’s relief efforts have reached the urban poor communities, farmers, fisherfolks, medical frontliners, and indigenous communities across the country.
