Obet Ocampo, 55, is one of the 24 beneficiaries of fiberglass boats and fishing gears provided by PEF as a subsidized loan.
He also manages the fishpond that produces grouper and lapu-lapu.
“Dahil mayroon ng fishpond, mayroon kaming pinagkakakitaan kahit hindi kami nagdadagat,” he said.
Ocampo is a member of Team Aqua, a group of 22 members organized by Yakap at Halik MPC Quezon 2 (YHMPC2) that was established to manage the coastal projects undertaken by PEF and the cooperative.
