IPs in Calinan, Davao to benefit from new water system

The people of Brgy. Dalagdag can now breathe a sigh of relief as they embrace progress and better standard of living with the new potable water system that will benefit 259 households or 1,137 individuals in the community.

For years, the indigenous people and the migrant settlers of Brgy. Dalagdag in Davao City have been suffering from lack of access to potable water. Water-related diseases are common and farm productivity is limited. Residents have to walk for 30 minutes to find the nearest source of water for their needs.

Kasilak Development Foundation, Inc. (KDFI) with support from the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), Coca-Cola Foundation Inc., and Dole Philippines Inc. - Stanfilco teamed up for this project.
